We’re finally on our way, Torquay.
We’ve booked the movers, we’ve labelled every last box FRAGILE because we don’t really trust said movers, and of course, we’ve packed one of the most extensive cocktail menus you’ve ever seen.
Just how extensive is it? Well, to give you a teeny taste of our cocktail menu, we’re rounding up some of the mixes we think the people of Torquay are going to go completely chest-beating WILD for, you absolute animals.
Speaking of animals, after visiting the Living Coasts zoo in Torquay (or as it shall now be commonly known – the cutest damn zoo in the world), we just couldn’t resist creating a drink that you can get up and close and personal with.
Waddle forward our Quacktail, a delicate mix of Cîroc Pink Grapefruit vodka, Coco Reàl, passion fruit syrup, pineapple juice and lime, topped with the most adorable rubber ducky!
No ducks were harmed in the making of this cocktail.
Bourbon Bad Boy
From our intense research of walking around the town for twenty minutes, we can tell that Torquay is full of the friendliest locals. Seriously, they were almost too nice to us.
Which is exactly why we think Torquay needs to try this naughty little number. A creamy, biscuity blend of Bulleit Bourbon, Frangelico, half and half, chocolate liqueur and gomme syrup.
The best bit? We’ve served it with a miniature flask of Bulleit Bourbon blended with coffee AND everyone’s second favourite biscuit, to give it even more bite.
Seeing as Torquay is one of the few places in the UK where the phrase ‘mild January’ can be used in all seriousness, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to bring something completely refreshing just in time for summer.
With Tanqueray No. TEN gin, Fever-Tree Elderflower tonic water, blackcurrant liqueur and lemon juice, garnished with grapefruit and lemon slices, this right here is the classiest way to quench your thirst.
While we all love a standard seaside getaway, it has to be said that there’s nothing standard about the seaside in Torquay.
And it’s the same story with our Strawberry Daiquiri, which manages to put all those standard Daiquiri’s to shame with its blended brilliance.
Bacardi Carta Blanca rum, vanilla liqueur, strawberry purée, lime, grenadine and cranberry juice, it’s even served with a Giant Strawb candy to make those seaside vibes EVEN sweeter!
Mouthwatering sweet and bursting with flavour, this is a mix of Ketel One vodka, Chambord, watermelon and gomme syrups, lime, apple juice and blackberries.
And as the people of Torquay spend the majority of their days getting the (Vitamin) D, our Blackberry Bliss is the perfect cocktail for staying fresh.
Candy Floss Frappé
Now, we can’t speak for the locals in Torquay, but we go completely wild just at the thought of candy floss.
Combine the most delicious spun sugar with Peach and Melted Ice Cream Revolution Handcrafted Flavours, cherry syrup and pineapple juice, then we get justalittlebittooexcitedforwords.
Look, as one of the biggest seaside towns, we know Torquay loves a good old-fashioned party.
So we just had to bring along our party-sized Spring Julep, made with Bulleit Bourbon, elderflower cordial, apple juice, mint, lime, raspberries and beautiful bramble jam.
Seriously, one sip of this seasonal sharer will get you right in the party mood.
