Now here’s a list that will get your blood boiling.
These outfits are awe-inspiringly cool, but eye-wateringly expensive, so there’s only one thing we can do about it really.
Shower them with scorn and hate them like the unaffordable garments they are.
Let’s do this.
This Vivienne Westwood dress will cost you £405 and make you look like you belong on the red carpet. But since it’s essentially unaffordable we’re gonna go ahead and say that it’s awful and you’d be better of wearing a bin bag. Right?
It’s nearly £2000 for this Vera Wang dress, but who’s even bothered about looking like an graceful and timelessly elegant black swan from paradise? Not us, that’s for sure.
Well. We’ve got to be honest, this Giorgia Armani suit jacket and shirt combo is terribly dashing. If the price is right then it might be worth it.
We take it back. It costs just under £1900, so this cheap Don Draper combo can burn in fashion hell as far as we’re concerned.
This Gucci dress is only £1470. Yeah, it’s nice, but that’s probably a bit to – er – cheap for us.
So what if this Burberry suit makes you look like James Bond? For £1495, this look can rot in a fashion hell too.
At £2210, who would even want to have this totally boss look courtesy of Versace? Not us, that’s for sure.
At £2150, this Dolce & Gabbana suit is a total steal. And by that, we mean you should totally steal it because there’s no way we’re paying that price*.
*Disclaimer: don’t steal anything, we’re joking.
This Oscar de la Renta dress costs £6052.74.
Oh. So that’s how much it actually costs to look like an actual princess. Whatevs. The regal look isn’t all that hot anyway.
Here’s an idea.
Instead of spending your time feeling totally unglamorous looking at beautiful things that are way too pricey, why not feel glamorous at this month’s Big Weekend?
Don’t worry. You won’t need a £6000 cocktail dress to fit in.
