We don’t really know who first invented the Margarita. Loads of people say they did, and we aren’t one to jump on a bandwagon. But we will take a bit of glory for this particular one. Because it ‘s a bit special.

But ‘watt’s’ so good about it… eh?

Well, firstly it’s a high voltage mix of Olmeca tequila, Malibu, Blue Bols and lime juice, and secondly it should only be played about with under strict adult supervision.

Protective eyewear is optional, party vibes are not.
So, be careful when you try this one at home. And don’t say we didn’t warn you. With great power, comes great responsibility.

The ingredients

37.5ml Olmeca tequila
12.5ml Malibu
12.5ml Blue Bols
25ml Gomme
12.5ml lime juice
Lemon to garnish

The method

Fill a large glass with cubed ice and add the lime juice and Gomme, then all the alcohol. Shake it up good and proper. Strain over ice into a Martini glass and garnish with a slice of lemon.
