When Will Tramp! was listed in Fact Magazine’s Top 20 Underrated DJs we were down with it, but a bit confused.

He co-created the infamous Tramp! club night in 2004, bringing the likes of Justice, Diplo, Chromeo, The Juan Maclean, Modeselektor and Franz Ferdinand to Manchester on a weekly basis for over five years. And that was just the beginning. Since then Will has become one of the City’s best loved and most forward-thinking party starters.

Underrated? Not by us.

Will’s lightning quick skills, live re-edits, use of effects and ability to fuse sounds from all genres have seen him win over crowds time and time again at nights like Homoelectric, Bugged Out! and The Warehouse Project, where he has his longstanding residencies. And, if you were one of the 70,000 who have seen him play at one of the Parklife Festivals over the past few years, you’ll know why he is our all-time favourite DJ.

But it’s not just Manchester. Will travels all over the UK and internationally spinning everything from Detroit techno, house and outsider pop to 80s boogie. In fact, his antics at the Electric Elephant boat parties in Croatia are almost legendary, not just for the tunes…

Back in the early days, Will used to play at our Fallowfield bar in Manchester on Saturday nights. He’s not actually said the words, but we are pretty sure they were the best gigs he ever did. It makes him very much part of the Revolution family, and means occasionally we can hit him up for exclusive sets, like this one which celebrates our new In The Mix drinks menu.

Last weekend he was at Kendal Calling (and in the coming weeks he is playing out at Festival No. 6 and Bestival), but Will still found time to put together a mix just for us, to celebrate our IN THE MIX drinks menu. He describes it as a set that represents exactly the kind of thing he would play in a club. That means you can expect a tops off selection of house, UK garage, disco and bass music.

It features tracks by Doorly, Jamie XX, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Disclosure, Dusky, Kendrick Lamar & more. And, trust us, the roof is coming off.

Enjoy.
