When it comes to writing interesting stuff on a regular basis, you’ve got to make sure you’re mixing up the formula every now and then.

Sometimes you’ve got to write something funny and entertaining.

Sometimes you’ve got to write engaging, thought-provoking explorations of the cultural zeitgeist, to formulate a comprehensive understanding of the 21st century human condition.

And sometimes, you’ve got to stick up a bunch of mouth-watering pictures of massive burgers from around the world because….well, just because some foods are so awesome they need to be seen.

This is one of those times. Here are some incredible burgers that’ll get your taste buds in a twist.

The Beatrice Inn, New York

Is that, like, two burgers stacked on top of each other? And each burger is loaded with caramelized onions and cheese? This has got to be some kind of joke.

The Heart Attack Grill, Las Vegas

Are you serious? That’s not a burger, that’s an intergalactic deathship from Planet Meat. Oh no, apparently it is a burger. The Heart Attack Grill famously serves free food to people over 350lbs, which is totally irresponsible, but to be fair, they don’t purport to possess any sense of shame when it comes to calories.

Hello Sam Cafe, Melbourne

This devasting beast of a burger is nicknamed the Cheese Tsunami, which we can only guess is owed to the torrents of cheese pouring from between its meaty schisms.

Liberty Market, Arizona

So much macaroni. So much cheese. So much meat. May the lord have mercy upon our souls (and arteries).

BLBurgers, Sydney

What even is this? Why is it as black as the night sky? And why, oh why is it so beautiful?  It’s a special fish burger called the Finding Emo, made using squid ink & beer battered cod fillet.

Mallie’s Sports Grill & Bar, Detroit

Now that just seems silly.

You’re looking at one of the biggest burgers ever made. It requires 135lbs worth of meat to be able to make it, and you can actually order this absurd creation from Mallie’s Sports Grill for £400 dollars. And as much as we love a big burger, this somehow proves that there probably is such a thing as too much meat.

The thing is, we believe that a good burger is an exercise in restraint. It’s so tempting to keep on piling on the ingredients, as all you need to do is lift the bun and pile it on. Ultimately, that’s a good thing, but with great power comes great responsibility, and its very easy to go overboard and end up with a big, greasy mess.

That’s why you can trust us to make the perfect burger. And now that we’ve just put together a new batch of incredible burger specials, there’s never been a better time to get your burger on with us.

Go on, check them out here. You know you want to.
