During The Hen Night

As you get ready for the climax of the hen night, the evening out, there are some rules and suggestions that you would do well to remember.

1. The hen night is for the bride, and not for you. If you don't like the music, or her choice of food, remember who the weekend is for. By booking.

2. All through the day and the hen night itself, try and get people who don't know each other to spend time together. This could be during some sort of activity or have a day shopping or being pampered before the evening. By making the effort to try and get all her friends to get on with each other, the bride will feel much more relaxed, and able to enjoy herself more.

3. On the hen night what the bride wants, goes. So don't be offended if your carefully constructed plan and timetable is falling apart, and don't try and rush people if they're having a good time. The bride being happy is more important than everyone sticking to what you’ve got planned.

4. Let the bride get emotional as and when she wants to, it's her hen night. She might be a bit embarrassed about showing her feelings in front of her friends, or she might be spending more time telling you and the rest of her friends how wonderful you are, than enjoying herself.

5. If you've decided on wearing costumes, or accessories on the hen night, or are having a theme or forfeits, the make sure that you get everything ready in advance, so that you leave nothing to chance.

6. No matter how tempting it may be, never leave the bride alone on her hen night. She's counting on you to make sure that she's OK, and has everything she needs, whether it's food and drink, or the dancefloor. Your agenda should be to look after her, and she should be your only concern.

7. Make sure everyone is aware of the timetable before the hen night fun starts in the evening, and that you know the name of the hotel, and roughly where it is, so that nobody goes missing, and

8. Enjoy yourselves! The bride will have an amazing time, and if you've booked the hen night at a Revolution, then you can rest assured that everything from the food and drink to the entertainment and music will be taken care off, and so you won't have forgotten anything. As long as the bride is having a great time, then the hen night at Revolution will be a success!
