Hen Party Planning Advice

If you're in charge of organising your best friend's hen night, then what do you need to know?

You need to pick a date when all of the bridesmaids and other people the bride wants with her on her hen night are available. There isn't really much room for compromising, as it is the Bride's night after all. Depending on how things work out, you might have to organise several big nights out.

Once you've determined how people are available for the hen night, you'll be able to work out what sorts of things you'll be able to do and where you'll be able to go.

Don't forget that not everybody will be able to afford an extravagant hen night away, so you might need to think more economically, and make sure that people don't feel offended or feel that they have to spend more than they are comfortable with.

Will you decide to stay in your locale, or explore somewhere further afield for the hen night? Perhaps you and the bride and the rest of the group don't live in the same place, so you'll be looking for a central location, or somewhere that's easy to get to. Don't forget that there are Revolution Bars in England, Wales and Scotland, so you're bound to be able to find somewhere convenient.

You'll need to find something to do during the day, and depending on what the bride will want to do, and where you are, you might want to go shopping, spoil yourselves with a pampering day in a spa, or go and do something adventurous like quad biking. If you do decide to do something during the day, make sure that you leave plenty of time to get ready for the hen night ahead! Revolution Bars can be found in some of the most exciting towns and cities, and so there's always plenty to see and do on a hen night.

What will you do during the evening? Don't forget that you'll need to find somewhere to eat, and you may need to book in advance. You might choose to take a different approach to drinks on the hen night, and instead of drinking your usual tipple, you might want to be more adventurous and choose cocktails, or champagne.

Don't forget to organise your accommodation way in advance. As well as making sure you've got somewhere to stay, you might even be able to get a good deal too. On the hen night itself, make sure that everyone knows the name of the hotel, and roughly where it is, so if the group gets split up, you can all find your way home.

If you're getting thoroughly organised for the hen night, and are taking accessories such as T shirts, L Plates and so on, don't forget that you might need to order them, and get the T shirts printed in plenty of time.
