Planning a Hen Party Advice

So, you've been given the job of planning the hen party, and don't really know where to start? Here's what you need to know.

You need to know who to invite to the hen party. There should be Definite, Possible, Have To, and the Must Not. The Definites should be the rest of the bride's closest friends, the Possibles are those people she'd like to be able to come, but won't mind too much if they can't make it; the Have Tos are the family members that must be invited, (and hopefully they won't be able to make it) an the Must Nots are those people who must not be invited, or should be invited only if it's known in advance that they won't be able to attend.

Whilst you're waiting for replies, you'll be able to pick exact dates, and make sure that everyone is available for the chosen date.

As soon as the numbers and date for the hen party are known you'll be able to think about locations and venues, and what you want to do.

The bride may have an idea of where she wants to go, and what she wants to do. Alternatively, she may not! Why not go to a different town or city, or choose somewhere known for its nightlife, or because there's lots of things to see and do there.

Don't forget to plan what to do during the day. Remember to choose something that hat the bride would like, not you or the rest of your group! Also, make sure that any plans are flexible and not too restrictive, as you feel like you're not enjoying yourselves as you'll soon have to move on to something else. As a word of caution, be aware of activities that can bruise, such as paintballing and clay pigeon shooting. This is especially important if the actual day of the wedding is shortly after the hen party.

The evening will usually involve some sort of food and drink, and entertainment. At Revolution, we can cater for your hen party, and arrange everything you need to make the bride's send off better than she could have ever imagined.

Whatever you decide to do for your hen party, and which ever Revolution you decide to visit, make sure that you book early so that you can also book the accommodation and transport you need, and it'll also give people plenty of chance to save up and give the bride the best night of her life!
