Stag Night at Revolution

Being asked to organise the Stag night is a responsible job and a huge honour, so you'll want to make sure that the groom has the best night of his life. You might be worrying about about what will be involved and what to expect but at Revolution we've organised lots of Stag parties, and so know exactly what you need to do in order to guarantee the perfect Stag night.

1. Make sure that everyone is available on the date you choose. You'll have to have several dates in mind, and be flexible in case somebody can't make it. Also, bear in mind that as it's the groom's big Stag night, and not yours, he won't be changing his previous arrangements, you'll need to change yours.

2. Choose your perfect Stag night city. Will you stick with your local Revolution or will you pick a party city such as London, Newcastle or Manchester? Perhaps the groom's already got somewhere in mind, or perhaps you've been given carte blanche.

3. Don't forget to sort out the guest list. Is there somebody who has to be there, or anyone who can't be there? Perhaps you'll have to invite certain people but the groom doesn't really want them there. Remember that the groom's decision is final, and what he says goes. It is his Stag night after all.

4. Don't forget to arrange something to do during the day before the Stag night itself. What about something out of the ordinary, like a driving day on a race track or rally course, or paintballing, or outdoor pursuits? Remember that it's for the groom and not you, so you might need to forget what you want, and choose something the groom will want to do.

5. Although outdoor activities are fun, and will let you spend lots of time with your mates, be careful that you're not too worn out at the end of the day. You won't want to be too tired to enjoy the Stag night itself!

6. It might be a good idea to arrange your transport in advance, so that you're not waiting around for taxis at the beginning or end of the Stag night. You don't to have your memories of the evening spoilt by having to wait for taxis for hours.

7. By booking your Stag night accommodation well in advance, you'll be able to make sure that your hotel is where you want to be. Will the groom want to stay at a stylish luxurious hotel with all the mod cons, and amazing facilities, or will a modest hotel in the city centre make more sense, and give you more time and money for celebrating and having a great time?

8. Have you arranged any games or other amusement for during the Stag night itself? Have you got some plans to embarrass the groom? If you've got something planned, make sure that you've got everything you need in advance; you don't want to run the risk of not finding what you need.

9. Make sure that the groom has a great time, and that you ensure that he has everything he wants and needs during the Stag night. From having enough to eat and drink, to winning the games, it's your responsibility to make sure that he has best night ever.

10. Remember that the groom will want you to enjoy yourselves too on his Stag night. Don't worry that something isn't quite as you hoped for, or the schedule that you organised with meticulous military precision is now hours behind. Have fun, and most importantly of all, make sure the groom has fun on his Stag night.
