Top 10 Tips for Planning a Stag Party

Here are some tips to help you make double sure that everything happens at the stag party without any major complications. Planning the ultimate stag party will require a lot of organization, coordination and time so that you can cover all the angles. If you follow these ten steps listed below you will have an awesome weekend and the groom will thank you for life.

  1. Allow enough time – remember the groom still wants to get married so give him a chance to recover and some time for the bride to be to cool down after a wild session.
  2. Consider your mates – before deciding on where the party will be, remember to think about what your mates can afford or where they would like to go.
  3. Choose a location – think of what will be best for everyone. There's no point jetting off to some exotic island to find you and the groom are the only people there.
  4. Encourage commitment – try and get everyone to RSVP and pay a deposit right from the start, that way your mates are less likely to cancel at the last minute.
  5. Consider the dates – make sure there are no big football matches, weddings, anniversaries and that none of your mates is going on holiday.
  6. Keep checking – check the arrangements you've made amongst the stag party, and send them the occasional reminder.
  7. Make sure there are no loose ends – double check transport, dress code etc...
  8. Protect the groom – I know this is a stag party but the poor lad has got to look his best soon after the party for his wedding! So make sure nothing untowards happens to him.
  9. The morning after – Make sure there is plenty of water and aspirin and if you are driving make sure you do it safely.
  10. Keep HER happy – If the good lady's waiting at home, remember she was good enough to allow you away for a wild stag party in the first place. To ensure Sunday night peace and quiet, tell her it was all pretty normal and bring her a gift!

There's much to think about and get right when planning an unforgettable stag party. So make sure you have all the bases covered and you should be good to go and enjoy the stag party with your mates. Good Luck...!
