Ugh. It’s Wednesday.

Wednesdays are kind of good because you’ve made it halfway to the weekend, but they’re also bad because ‘OH MY GOD IT’S ONLY HALFWAY THROUGH THE WEEK – PLEASE KILL ME’.

It’s true – Wednesdays can be a killer, but sometimes all you need is the right advice on how to get through it. And guess what? We’ve got some really helpful tips of our own, so take heed as we show you how to make the most of your hump day.


Getting an early night is easy – all you have to do is sleep, right? This is the most simple way to make sure you start Wednesday with a positive mindset.
But for some reason, getting an early night is like, the hardest thing to do in the world, right?

‘Silly Netflix, you’ve automatically started playing the next episode! Oh well, look’s like I’ll have to watch it now.’


Nothing starts the day better than a bit of exercise. Set your alarm for 6, get your trainers on and get jogging.

In fact, that sounds awful. Set your alarm for as late as you can possibly get away with and get ready in 5 minutes, skipping every non-essential element of your morning routine.


We’d recommend a kale-based organic smoothie blended with a tablespoon of chia seeds and a pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt. Don’t forget to add a scoop of vegan protein powder or pistachio butter.

Ugh, that sounds awful too. If you’d rather not drink a glass of what sounds like something a care bear would puke up, go for a fry up. The only way to go is greasy.

Or if you don’t fancy acting like a god-damn tree-hugging hippy, we’d recommend punching a wall repeatedly as the perfect method of stress reduction.


Whether you’re stuck in college or the workplace, taking a positive attitude towards the work you do can actually make it very rewarding – stop seeing it as a chore, and try completing your tasks with enthusiasm!

Yeah – and maybe you could grow some wings and fly yourself to the Maldives for a midweek break, seeing as though the chances of that happening are about equal to prospect of you actually enjoying work.

Well, we tried our best to be positive, but it seems like there’s no way to dress it up – Wednesday’s suck, and the only effective way of feeling better about it is to remind yourself that you’re creeping closer and closer towards the weekend.
