Whiskey sour. Daiquiri. Caipirinha. These tangy, traditional classics are proof that the centuries-long history of cocktails is paved with mouth-pursingly sour tastes.

Of course, when we decided to mix up a sour cocktail of our own, we weren’t that bothered about keeping things traditional.

As per usual, we set fire to the rule book and created something no one expected.

Here’s our Sourberry Burst. It’s ultra-sour, ultra-sweet and overloaded with berrylicious goodness. Enjoy.

Crystal glass

37.5ml Ketel One vodka
25ml Sour Berry flavoured vodka
12.5ml passion fruit purée
12.5ml Coco Real
25ml pineapple juice
2 blackberries

Pineapple leaf (optional)
½ passion fruit

Grab a crystal glass and fill it with ice. Throw this ice into a blender along with all of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour the contents of the blender into the crystal glass. Plunge the pineapple leaf upright into the glass and float the passion fruit on top. Enjoy.
