Summer and music are made for each other.
That’s why music festivals start to totally dominate the land during the sunny season.
If you’ve not already booked tickets for yours, well, you’re just plain old missing out on one of the best experiences available for human beings to enjoy.
Crack open the piggy bank and bag yourself a ticket to one of these.
Where: Perthshire, Scotland
When: 8th-10th July
With the Stone Roses, Calvin Harris and Red Hot Chilli Peppers headlining, you know this is about as big as festivals get. There’s a fairground and loads of fun stuff to do at this weekend party, so you don’t even need to like music to have the time of your life (but it definitely helps).
Where: Lisbon, Portugal
When: 7th-9th July
With the calibre of bands on show and number of people in attendance at this festival, it’s no wonder it’s known as Europe’s ‘Glastonbury with guaranteed sun’. The Chemical Brothers, Radiohead, Biffy Clyro, The 1975, Arcade Fire, Foals, Tame Impala….for a festival that costs less than £100 for the whole weekend, that’s a lot of band for your buck.
Where: Hampshire, UK
When: 11th-14th August
This is an ultracool festival that is made to make you feel like you’re walking in a mystical party wonderland. Each of the stages have their own wacky and wild Hollywood-style themes, and they really go overboard in making it feel elaborate. With Madness and Damian Marley headlining, you just KNOW there are gong to be some good vibes flying about all weekend.
Where: Chelmsford / Staffordshire
When: 20th-21st August
Justin Bieber one day, Rihanna the next. That’s a pretty straightforward summary of how earth-shaking this festival is. Only the biggest rock and pop acts from around the world play at this massive music party, so get yourself some tickets and never look back.
Where: Glastonbury, UK
When: 22nd-26th June
It may be sold out already, but this wouldn’t be a very credible list if we didn’t mention this absolute behemoth of a festival. If you’ve got a ticket, lucky you. If not, prepare for a severe case of FOMO.
Of course, going to festivals isn’t always something that’s easy to make happen.
However, coming to our Lost Summer Big Weekend, starting this Friday night, is definitely something you can get in on.
With awesome music and dancing all weekend, it’s got all the festival vibes without all of those smelly, unwashed people and toilets that are totally non-compliant with basic standards of hygeine.
Plus, we’ve mixed up some totally exclusive Stoli Blueberi cocktails for the occasion. Book in advance for Sunday 29th, and we’ll make you one free.
Miss out on that, and you’ll DEFINITELY feel the FOMO.
