The famous burger chain started life in the Baldwin Park area of LA back in 1948 with the world’s first ever drive thru diner. The burgers really have to be tasted to be believed.

An intimate upmarket restaurant from Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone, Maude is all about seasonal produce cooked well. Which makes it crazy expensive, obviously.

Co-owned by a certain Robert Di Niro, Nobu is a sushi restaurant frequented by the great and good of Hollywood. It ain’t cheap, but it is very, very cool.

Another super-pricey option, but one which is just about as glamorous as it gets in the city of angels. Tavern does a fine line in American fusion cuisine, and a very impressive line in celeb spotting too.
