Planning on paying us a little visit? Here’s ALL the essential info you could possibly need prior to joining the party.

If you were looking for the 4-1-1 on all things Revolution, well friend – you’ve come to the right place.

What’s the Revolution dress code?

Here at Revolution, dress code is pretty (smart) casual.

We politely request no sportswear, vests or football colours. And in the evening? Trainers are normally a no-no.

Exact dress code can vary from bar to bar, and often depends on time of day and day of the week.

For example, a few bars permit fancy dress (although it must be inoffensive) at the discretion of door staff/management, and some bars don’t.

If in doubt, please contact your local bar with details of your dream outfit beforehand – someone will always be able to advise. You can find your nearest Revolution.

We think that a good night out is about feeling great and looking glam, so dress to impress but in a way that makes you comfortable.

Does Revolution have an ID policy?

During the day, everybody’s welcome* – and there’s no age limit to enjoy your local Revolution.

But after-hours and for bigger parties (like our famous Big Friday and Big Weekend events) all you younger-looking lot will be asked to provide ID, either on the door or at the bar. Basically:

“Revolution bars operate a minimum check 21 policy. If you are lucky enough to look younger than 21 then please be prepared to prove your age with valid and current identification. This can be either a UK driving licence, passport, or PASS identification card bearing the PASS hologram. Some bars may operate a check 25/30 policy so if in doubt please check with the bar you are visiting.

We’ve also gotta tell you at this point that, at every bar, Revolution Management reserve the right to refuse admission – and that our door policies also apply to private bookings and parties.

Is there a Revolution entry fee?

For the most part, Revolution bars offer free entry across the UK.

However, this can vary on certain days – Friday and Saturday nights for example – when some bars may charge a small cover fee for late entry.

We also run ticketed events, which are often free – however, this will depend on the night, the bar and the event itself.

As Revolution entry prices differ from bar to bar on weekends, our advice is to always get down early – you’ll be far more likely to bag free entry at 7pm than you will 11pm!

If you’re unsure about a particular event, please visit your local bar page and check the What’s On listings for more information.
