We know that you have been playing Miley Cyrus ‘Flowers’ on repeat, but is there really a better female empowerment song? In that case, never mind Valentine’s, this year it’s all about Galentine’s. We can buy our own flowers.

In case you aren’t familiar with the term Galentine’s, we’ll explain:

Galentine’s – a day for women to celebrate their friendships with their lady friends. It’s Valentine’s Day with your gals. 13th of February.

What do you do on Galentine’s weekend? We have the answer. You go to Revs for Galentine’s bottomless brunch obvs…

We’re talking two hours of bottomless drinks, a delicious brunch dish, and all the girl power songs that you sing a little bit too loud. Our Galentine’s bottomless brunch will run the 11th and 12th of Feb.

Sounds good, doesn’t it? Book here.

Now that the weekend is covered (this isn’t a one-day celebration FYI), we have some ideas for you to do on Galentine’s day:

Happy Hour obvs

Nothing screams independent lady, like going to cocktails with your besties after work. You know you can’t resist a Revs happy hour.

Galentine’s cocktail night

Grab the girls, get matching pajamas, and make some pink cocktails. You know there is nothing better than having a good catch up with the girls, it’s a form of self-care after all.

Self-Care = Self Love

Sometimes the best company is your own. We all need some alone time; nothing beats blasting your some Girl Power tunes and making yourself your favourite meal (or ordering a takeaway if cooking’s not your thing). Run a big bubble bath, pour a glass of wine and put on a relaxing face mask.

Movie night

Fancy more of a low-key night in? Make a list of the best anti-valentine films and get the girls round for a movie night. Buy popcorn, snacks and your favourite drink. You want to know some movie recommendations? Check out our ex-amnesty blog.

Have a fab Galentine’s and remember to celebrate your Independence. Oh, and guys, we’re not excluding you, you’re invited too.
