This iconic libation is widely attributed to the legendary London bartender, Dick Bradsell, who created the concoction in the 1980s (great name, equally great cocktails).

The story goes that one night a young model asked Bradsell to mix up something to – WOW, get back – “wake me up and f**k me up.” (Pause: for dramatic gasps).

Bradsell combined vodka, espresso and coffee liqueur to create the Espresso Martini and the rest is history a total blur. We jest. Anyway, it wasn’t long before craft coffee cocktail culture went mainstream and Bradsell’s bittersweet concoction was the tipple on everyone’s lips.
